We have just completed a most exciting and enjoyable series of painting courses
which ran through spring and early summer.

Our recent watercolour course, exploring the pouring technique when painting
flowers was a real highlight and the paintings produced had the most
wonderful glowing colours.

Earlier in the year we explored the beauty of white Amaryllis in oils and the paintings
created were full of light and subtle colour.

We are looking forward to planning some more interesting courses for the autumn
session and details will be posted on our Painting Courses page in September.

The long light filled summer days provide a wealth of inspiration and subject matter
to paint.
I hope to work on some Still Life subjects – with flowers from our garden –
and spend some time painting on the beach and other locations in Connemara
during the next couple of months.
